U.S. Marines with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) embark the USS Wasp (LHD 1) prior to Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) on Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia, April 5, 2024. The 24th MEU and Wasp (WSP) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) are conducting COMPTUEX, their final at-sea, certification exercise under the evaluation of Carrier Strike Group 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group.
