Saum Khavandegaran, 163d Security Forces Squadron, loads ammunition for a new weapon system, the M18 SIG handgun, as well as complete a new course of fire for qualification at March Air Reserve Base, California, April 6, 2024. The new and improved 9mm caliber handguns are lighter polymer pistols with a more consistent trigger pull and adjustable grips for large and small hands improving shooter lethality within our diverse force.
