An HH-60W Jolly Green II helicopter and an HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter, both assigned to the 943d Rescue Group, hover above the flight line at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona, during a routine training mission April 7, 2024. This HH-60G has a two-tone camouflage pattern paint scheme, consisting of drab green and tan colors, as part of a heritage restoration project honoring the history of Air Force Rescue during the Vietnam War. The HH-60W is the successor to the HH-60G and is used for a variety of missions to include combat search and rescue operations in hostile or denied territory. The 943d RQG is a geographically separated unit from the 920th Rescue Wing, Patrick Space Force Base, Florida. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Nicole Koreen)
