ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 8, 2024) Chief Warrant Officer Jason Runner, assigned to amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), transits the ships well deck during well deck operations with landing craft, air cushion (LCAC) assigned to Assault Craft Unit 4, April 8, 2024. Wasp is training in U.S. 2nd Fleet area of operation and is the flagship of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group-24th Marine Expedition Unit. Naval integration provides combatant commanders and America’s civilian leaders highly-capable forces that deter adversaries, underpin American security and economic prosperity, and reassure allies and partners.
