    44th Medical Brigade pariticipates in a Medical Readiness Exercise

    U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 44th Medical Brigade and Burundi National Defence Force medical professionals kicked off Medical Readiness Exercise (MEDREX) Burundi 24-3 with an opening ceremony. Officials discussed the MEDREX program taking place at the Kamenge Military Hospital, April 8-26, 2024 in Bujumbura, Burundi. MEDREX is a medical readiness exercise program, planned and executed by U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa (SETAF-AF), that allows military health professionals from the U.S. and their African partners to exchange medical practices, procedures and techniques that build and strengthen treatment capabilities, resulting in lasting relationships between the partners.
