    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jack Schneder, an engineer equipment operator with Arrival and Assembly Operations Group (AAOG), II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF), power washes a Humvee before storing it at Frigard Cave, Norway, April 10, 2024. Marines with II MEF AAOG, are in Norway after the close of Nordic Response 24 to repair, inspect and manage the return of II MEF and Marine Corps Pre-Positioning Program – Norway (MCPP-N), vehicles and equipment for future use. MCPP-N uses climate-controlled caves across Norway to store munitions to support a Marine Expeditionary Brigade for up to 30 days, and ground equipment to support a Marine Air Ground Task Force built around an infantry battalion task force, combat logistics battalion, and composite aviation squadron.
