Ethan Bowen, a combat engineer assigned to Battalion Landing Team 1/8, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), simulates providing security during a training exercise aboard the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS New York (LPD 21), April 12, 2024. Marines embark aboard New York to provide additional defense support through the training exercises. New York is operating in the U.S. Second Fleet area of operations as part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group-24th MEU.
