Making it a clean sweep of recovery…A Roomba relay was employed as part of training in recovery from hypothetical scenario involving injuries to sight, sinew and senses. The relay and other activities were presented to Naval Hospital Bremerton’s Physical Therapy department team in conjunction with April designated as Occupational Therapy Month. Ms. Teri Nyblom, NHB certified occupational therapist assistant, presented her Physical Therapy counterparts with practical, hands-on instruction of what occupational therapists offer any eligible beneficiaries during their recovering, recuperating and rehabilitating process. Here, Hannah Leon, physical therapist, works a rotator cuff tear as part of the relay designed to provide gentle strengthening for her shoulder (Official Navy photo by Douglas H Stutz, NHB/NMRTC Bremerton public affairs officer).
