AFWERX, Defense Innovation Unit and NavalX have joined together to launch a new joint defense innovation workspace in Austin to better provide collaboration opportunities across the organizations and also to make them more accessible to startup companies. During a ribbon cutting ceremony as part of South by Southwest programming in Austin, Texas, March 8, 2024, the Joint Defense Innovation Space at Capital Factory opened its doors.
