U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Alex Sagastume, a Hospital Corpsman with Golf Company, 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, is used as an example for a camouflage face paint class in the jungle near Puerto Castilla, Honduras, during exercise CENTAM Guardian 24, April 6, 2024. The U.S. Marines were given techniques on jungle navigation and received camouflage, casualty care, machine gun, and survival classes led by the Honduran Marines and Caiman commandos (Honduran special forces). CENTAM Guardian 24 is an annual, multinational exercise designed to strengthen interoperability, domain awareness, information sharing, and counter-threat capabilities between the United States and participating Central American partner nations.
