Members of the Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) environmental team joined other DoD and federal government organizations during the Earth Day showcase at the Pentagon on April 17, 2024, to build recognition of the work they're doing to build environmental and energy resilience. Marine Corps installations are actively working to ensure mission readiness through effective resource management and increased installation resilience to include protecting vulnerable species, restoring beaches, and building clean energy projects by way of its Installation Campaign Plan for Environmental Resilience and Energy Readiness.
