U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 1/8, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), operate a rigid-hull inflatable boat from the USS New York (LPD 21), Wasp (WSP) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) while underway in the Atlantic Ocean during Composite Unit Training Exercise (COMPTUEX), April 15, 2024. The WSP ARG-24th MEU is conducting COMPTUEX, their final at-sea, certification exercise under the evaluation of Carrier Strike Group 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group.
