SAIPAN, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (April 15, 2024) - Rear Adm. Greg Huffman, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command Senior Military Official for the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (NMI), Guam, Federated States of Micronesia and Republic of Palau, attended a naturalization ceremony at the District Court for the NMI in Saipan, April 15. During the ceremony, Huffman offered remarks and congratulated the new Americans on their citizenship.
“The commitment you make today is especially noteworthy, because here in Saipan, we are thousands of miles away from the continental United States,” he said. “It goes to show that our American values ring true and inspire people to seek democracy all around the world.”
