Students of the 533rd Training Squadron close their eyes in solidarity during Denim Day at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., April 19, 2024. The students participated in “Denim Day”, an event during Sexual Assault Awareness Month which encourages people to wear denim as a way to raise awareness about sexual violence and challenge misconceptions. The Department of the Air Force brings added awareness to this issue to emphasize resources and support available for preventing sexual assault. The goal is to promote open conversations and reduce stigma around seeking help. (U.S. Space Force photo by Airman 1st Class Olga Houtsma)
