An Airmen gives the thumbs up to the driver of a reversing vehicle during the 2024 Port Dawg Challenge at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga., April 17, 2024. The PDC was established in 2010 as a platform for Air Force personnel and sister service members to showcase their proficiency in transportation and logistics operations. This year, 26 teams from across the United States as well as one team from the Royal Australian, Auxiliary and Canadian Air Forces participated in the PDC. Teams tackled 12 different courses, all helping to showcase servicemembers abilities, strategic thinking and adaptability while fostering an environment for national and international camaraderie. Some of the events and challenges teams participated in were: engine running onload/offload, joint inspection, cargo processing, 10K forklift challenge and a written examination (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
