U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to Charlie Company, 325th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, conduct a medical subject matter expert exchange (SMEE) with the Philippine Army’s 5th and 7th Infantry Divisions and Army General Hospital Soldiers during Salaknib 24 at Fort Magsaysay Philippines, April 17, 2024. This SMEE included training in assessing for and treating massive hemorrhage, airway, respiration, circulation, head injury, hypothermia, and tactical trauma. Salaknib is an annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. Military designed to strengthen bilateral interoperability, capabilities, trust, and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
