U.S. Army Reserve Maj. Jayson Cummins, 575th Expeditionary Terminal Operating Element, 510th Regional Support Group, 7th Mission Support Command, poses for a selfie photo after driving an Abrams Tank off of the motor vessel GREEN OCEAN, as part of, reception, staging and onward movement (RSOM) at the port of Kalundborg, Denmark, April 16, 2024.
Immediate Response 2024 is the first time the U.S. Army has utilized this seaport for port operations, making a new logistical pathway enhancing U.S. strategic flexibility and reach to the “High North” in order to defend its NATO Allies. Military exercises involving NATO Allie’s and partner nations in the European theater remain an integral part of demonstrating our capability, readiness, and interoperability.
The 7th Mission Support Command is the U.S. Army Reserve presence in Europe. Comprised of 26 units across Germany and Italy, the 7th MSC provides logistical and sustainment resources in support of U.S. Army Europe and Africa missions across the theater.
