Dr. Andrew Higier, the Director of the Energy Portfolio at the Department of Defense, Defense Innovation Unit, delivers remarks during the opening ceremony of the 46 level 2 charging stations for personally owned electric vehicles (EVs) at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, April 22, 2024. This addition accompanies the government vehicle EV charging stations already available on MCB Camp Pendleton. The personally owned EV charging stations at MCB Camp Pendleton are serviced through TechFlow Incorporated. TechFlow provides 24/7 customer service, monitoring and maintenance to the charging stations, and the mobile app to locate open charging stations across the installation.
