Members of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Policy, Personnel & Readiness (P&R), and Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE) depart the USS Wasp (LHD 1) via a U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced), 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), during Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) while underway in the Atlantic Ocean, April 24, 2024. The purpose of the visit was to inform OSD Policy, P&R, and CAPE of the operational capabilities of the Wasp (WSP) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG)-24th MEU.
