Virginia Beach, VIRGINIA (April 25, 2024) – Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Fuels) Airmen Recruit Stephen Stamps, left, and Aviation Boatswains Mate (Fuels) Airmen Apprentice Oliver Tousant, both assigned to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), participate in a community relations event at Lynnhaven River NOW. In honor of the ship’s namesake, George H.W. Bush’s crew continues his initiative of service to the community through their very own ‘Thousand Points of Light’ community service program. Sailors from Bush worked with 41 organizations across 77 locations in the Hampton Roads area during their ship-wide day of service.
