ATLANTIC OCEAN, April 29, 2024 – A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter arrives to evacuate a crew member who suffered an injury on a cargo vessel of the coast of North Carolina, initially responded to by the guided-missile destroyer USS Stout (DDG 55). Stout is currently operating as part of CSG-8 for Group Sail, a weeklong exercise combining multiple Navy ships, led by the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier.
