Consul General Mark Stroh and USAID/Iraq’s Acting Deputy Mission Director Nancy Godfrey visited the Syriac Heritage Museum in Erbil to meet the Antiquities Coalition team. Since 2021, USAID has supported the Syriac Heritage Museum to digitize its collection of over 3,000 artifacts, which includes precious manuscripts from the New Testament and even early Christian newspapers. By preserving the cultural heritage of minorities and working with local partners, USAID affirms its commitment to empowering minority communities. Thank you, Syriac Heritage Museum, for your hospitality!
