The Navy and Marine Corps Force Health Protection Command (NMCFHPC) hosted a leadership meeting on April 30-May 1, 2024, at the River’s Edge Community Center on Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia. To kick-off the event, Capt. Charles Wilhite, deputy commander of NMCFHPC provided the objectives and guidelines. Commanding Officers and Officer’s in Charge from across the enterprise, to include NMCFHPC Directors, The Navy Entomology Center of Excellence (NECE), Navy Environmental Preventive Medicine Unit’s (NEPMU) Two, Five, Six, and Seven, The Naval Dosimetry Center, and the Navy Drug Screening Labs, alongside each of their Senior Enlisted Leaders attended the offsite. The offsite focused on three topics: discussing the way forward to update to the Missions, Functions, and Tasks (MFTs) directives for the enterprise, sharing leadership best practices in alignment with the Chief of Naval Operation’s Get Real Get Better behaviors, and discussing each leader’s goals for their respective units.
