NORFOLK, Va. (May 3, 2024) Rear Adm. Thomas P. Moninger is piped aboard during a change of command ceremony in which he assumed command of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 12 at Naval Station Norfolk, May 3, 2024. CSG 12 is the immediate superior in command for USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 8, Destroyer Squadron TWO (CDS 2), and USS Normandy (CG 60).
