NAVAL BASE GUAM (Dec. 5, 2023) – Sailors assigned to the Emory S. Land-class submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), guide a MK-48 torpedo during a weapons load on the assigned the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Annapolis (SSN 760), Dec. 5. Frank Cable, forward-deployed to the island of Guam, repair, rearm and re-provisions submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Pacific region. Annapolis is one of several submarines assigned to Commander, Submarine Squadron (CSS) 15. CSS-15 is located at Polaris Point, U.S. Naval Base Guam (NBG).
