ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 29, 2024) Culinary Specialist First Class Wenjian Shi,
assigned to Carrier Strike Group 4, places a floral arrangement made with potatoes and
food coloring on a table in the flag mess aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp
(LHD 1). He made the arrangement during a culinary training event he led with Marines and
Sailors aboard the ship. Wasp is underway in the Atlantic Ocean as the flagship of the Wasp
ARG – 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and is completing integrated naval training.
Carrier Strike Group 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group work together to
deliver with Joint and Allied teammates to mentor, train, and assess ARG-MEU teams in
