    Marines With Marine Corps Security Forces Participate in the GAFPB test

    German Army Col. Stephan Lissinna, German Army liaison officer, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, hands the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge to U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Anthony Wilson, an infantryman, Headquarters company, Marine Corps Security Forces Regiment during the GAFPB award ceremony at Fort Eustis, Virginia, May 3, 2024. During the ceremony service members were awarded a bronze, silver, or gold badge passed off their final scores. The GAFPB was created by the German Armed Forces in 1971 to tested their physical fitness and marksman abilities and this year marks the first time U.S. Marines participated in the GAFPB test.
