MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (May 6, 2024) Rear Adm. Joaquin J. Martinez de Pinillos, vice commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, and a native of Miami, right, speaks with Aviation Ordnanceman 2nd Class Petty Officer Joel Rodriguez assigned to Navy Talent Acquisition Group Miami, center, and Sgt. Arin S. Snyder, II Marine Expeditionary Force Support Batallion, at an esports invitational held during Fleet Week Miami and on the Saint Thomas University Campus. Fleet Weeks are a tradition of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard, where major U.S. cities host Marines, Sailors, and Coast Guardsmen for one week of community-wide events.
