U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Anthony Powers, outgoing senior enlisted advisor to the 555th Engineer Brigade, coined as the "Triple Nickel” Brigade, passes the brigade colors to Col. Marc Sanborn, signifying the relinquishment of responsibility during the 555th EN BDE change of responsibility ceremony at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, May 3, 2024. The colors are then passed to the incoming command sergeant major, Command Sgt. Maj.Tony Williams to signify the assumption of responsibility of the unit. The role of the senior enlisted advisor is to assist the commanding officer while ensuring standards, policies, training and overall readiness are maintained by all enlisted Soldiers throughout the unit.
