MONTEREY, Calif. (May 8, 2024) Nickolas Guertin, Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition (ASN RD&A), delivers the keynote address on the first day of the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) Acquisition Research Symposium. The event, now in its 21st year, brings together acquisition professionals in a research-focused forum that connects scholars, practitioners, and policymakers. NPS, located in Monterey, California, provides defense-focused graduate education, including classified studies and interdisciplinary research, to advance the operational effectiveness, technological leadership, and warfighting advantage of the Naval service. Established in 1909, NPS offers master’s and doctorate programs to Department of Defense military and civilians, along with international partners, to deliver transformative solutions and innovative leaders through advanced education and research.
