240417-N-CF580-1040 ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 17, 2024) Marines assigned to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit participate in a Non-Combatant Evacuation Operation in upper vehicle storage aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), April 17, 2024. Wasp is underway in the Atlantic Ocean and is the flagship of the Wasp amphibious ready group (WSPARG) – 24th Marine expedition unit (MEU) completing composite training unit exercise under the evaluation of carrier strike group (CSG) 4 and expeditionary operation training group (EOTG). CSG 4 and EOTG work together with joint and Allied teammates to mento, train, and assess ARGS and MEUS in support of U.S. and Allied economic, security, and defense interests.
