U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Dominic Fattore, outgoing commanding officer, 6th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, Force Headquarters Group, Marine Forces Reserve, salutes during the National Anthem at a change of command ceremony at Joint Base Lewis–McChord, Washington, May 4, 2024. The change of command ceremony is a time-honored tradition which formally signifies the transfer of command from one individual to another. During the ceremony, Fattore passed command of 6th ANGLICO to Lt. Col. Candice Creecy, who is the first female commanding officer of an ANGLICO unit in Marine Corps history. ANGLICO Marines specialize in combined arms, fire support and communications capabilities in support of planning, coordinating and conducting terminal control of fires.
