Commanding Officer Capt. Michael Aiena and Technical Director Dianne Costlow, both of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, award Scientist Benny Cheng of the warfare center's Acquisition and Readiness Assessment Department with the inaugural Michael J. Yeh award in Norco, California, April 4, 2024. Cheng was recognized for his decades of service in advancing NSWC Corona's innovation which enhanced numerous technical areas that have improved fleet readiness, advanced the warfare center's mission of independent assessment, and provided technological innovations to protect and advance the Navy's assessment capabilties.
