PHILIPPINE SEA (May 6, 2024) Damage Controlman 2nd Class Austin Elliston, from South Hampton, New York, Damage Controlman Celina Martinez, from Denver, and Damage Controlman 2nd Class Makenzie Aguirre, from Hobbs, New Mexico, man a fire hose in the hangar bay of the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), following a test of the countermeasure washdown system in the Philippine Sea, May 6.
