240427-N-LW994-1115 – DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Apr. 27, 2024) – Naval Special Warfare Assessment Command plants the American flag atop a dirt hill at Daytona International Speedway. The flag was transferred from the Navy Parachute Team after their jump and driven to the plant location at the end of an obstacle course. Naval Special Warfare is the nation's elite maritime special operations force, uniquely positioned to extend the Fleet's reach and gain and maintain access for the Joint Force in competition and conflict.
