240415-N-CD453-1503 NORTH PACIFIC OCEAN (April 15, 2024) Fire Controlman (Aegis) 3rd Class Samuel Cuaresma, from Houston, is exposed to OC (Oleoresin Capsicum) spray during a security reaction force basic (SRF-B) course aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) while conducting operations in the North Pacific Ocean, April 15. Dewey is forward-deployed and assigned to DESRON 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
