ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 29, 2024) Intelligence Specialist 1st Class Joseph Perry, right, and Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Richard Vanetten, both assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS New York (LPD 21), clear a .50-caliber machine gun weapon malfunction during a live-fire exercise aboard the ship, April 29, 2024. New York is underway in the Atlantic completing integrated naval training as part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group (WSP ARG)-24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
