U.S. Army Sgt. JaJuan Ferdinand, a signal support specialist assigned to the Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate based at Fort Moore, Ga., participates in a formal military board at Fort Bliss, Texas, May 10, 2024. Ferdinand is taking part in a week-long training program facilitated by the Joint Modernization Command. The primary focus of this training program was to prepare Ferdinand and members of his squad for the upcoming Army Futures Command's Best Squad Competition, which is set to take place at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., from June 2-7, 2024.
