SINGAPORE (May 13, 2024) - Lt.j.g Oliver Smith, navigator onboard the Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Manchester (LCS 14), briefs the ship's crew and Commodore of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 7, Capt. Sean Lewis, during a sea and anchor brief while in port Singapore May 13, 2024. Manchester, part of DESRON 7, is on a rotational deployment operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with Allies and partners and serve as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
