Lisa Craig, Air Force Recruiting Service deputy commander, and her husband David Craig ring the AFRS bell during her retirement ceremony, May 10, 2024, at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. Ringing the AFRS bell is a recruiting tradition signifying accomplishments in recruiting goals. Brig. Gen. Craig earned her commission as a second lieutenant upon completing Reserve Officer Training Corps from Detachment 900 in 1989. She has served in various operational and staff assignments at the unit, major command, and air staff levels. She most recently served as director of Manpower, Personnel and Services at the Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, which is responsible for the human capital, position, and talent management for nearly 75,000 military and civilian personnel worldwide, serving in all duty statuses.
