Local POW/MIA family members fill out required family reference sample forms during a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency Family Member Update (FMU) in Billings, Montana, May 18, 2024. During FMUs, Armed Forces Medical Examiner System personnel collect family reference samples both to identify possible POW/MIAs, and as a standard for comparison against separate losses.
