BREMERTON, Wash. (May 18, 2024) The Bremerton-Olympic Peninsula Navy League awards the tenth Rear Adm. Willis A. Lent Tactics and Warfighting Award to USS Jimmy Carter (SSN 23) Engineering Officer Lt. Cmdr. Landon Pogue. The award recognizes the best performing tactical submarine department head assigned to the Commander, Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet area of operations, which is based on outstanding tactical performance, individual achievement, and excellence in leadership, with an emphasis on warfighting performance.
