ANNAPOLIS, Md. (May 20, 2024) The U.S. Naval Academy holds their annual Midshipman Action Group (MAG) Service Awards ceremony in Memorial Hall during commissioning week. MAG, established in 1992, prepares midshipmen for future service by encouraging peer leadership, teamwork, character development, morale, selflessness, and goodwill towards others. As the undergraduate college of our country's naval service, the Naval Academy prepares young men and women to become professional officers of competence, character, and compassion in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
