ANNAPOLIS, Md. (May 21, 2024) The U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon and U.S. Marine Drum and Bugle Corps perform on Worden Field during Commissioning Week. The Marines of the drill platoon execute a series of calculated drill movements and precise handling of their hand-polished, 10-and-one-half pound, M1 Garand rifles with fixed bayonets, while Marines of the Drum and Bugle Corps provide music and drill ceremony.
