U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Ernest Brunell, a quality assurance representative with Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA(AW)) 224, Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 31, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), listens to a radio at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, May 22, 2024. VMFA(AW)-224, the “Fighting Bengals”, are based out of Beaufort, South Carolina and currently augment MAG-12 as a part of the Unit Deployment Program. VMFA(AW)-224 and VMFA-121, MAG-12, 1st MAW are training in Guam as part of the Aviation Training Relocation program to enhance interservice capabilities and to sustain high operational readiness in the Indo-Pacific.
