U.S. Marines with 6th Engineer Support Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marine Corps Forces Reserve, conduct forward arming and refueling point (FARP) operations as part of exercise Native Fury 24 in the United Arab Emirates, May 17, 2024.
The FARP uses the Helicopter Expedient Refueling System (HERS) to support helicopter refueling operations in forward areas and remote sites. The system's key elements are versatility, easy transportation, and quick setup.
