A U.S. Blackhawk helicopter assigned to the 1st Aviation Regiment, “Task Force Nightmare," 1st Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, is one of the many defense demonstrations from the U.S. at the Black Sea Defense, Aerospace and Security International Exhibition in Bucharest, Romania, on May 23, 2024. The Black Hawk is designed to perform a variety of missions, including troop transport, medical evacuation (MEDEVAC), cargo transport, search and rescue (SAR), and close air support. The BSDA is an international tri-service defense, aerospace, and security exhibition that takes place every two years and brings together military members and industry partners from around the world.
