Soldiers of Task Force Thunder received a special educational seminar at the Flossenbürg Concentration Camp Memorial from the memorial staff and sponsored by the 7th Army Training Command while on a historical staff ride in Bavaria, Germany, during their time serving as part of the Joint Multinational Training Group Ukraine (JMTG-U) on May 21, 2024. Tour guides guided them around the memorial and gave insights into its history, highlights, and the stories of struggles and tragedies that unfolded there, as well as the events following its liberation.
