Lt. Col. Brandon Pybus, chief of the Diagnostic Systems Division at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, discusses the Diagnostic Readiness Global Operational Network and Mobile Embedded Diagnostic Capability, or DRAGON MEDIC, a field-portable rapid diagnostic tool for identifying biological threats more quickly and efficiently than current methods, during the third annual Capability Days event, which took place May 21-22 at Fort Detrick. Capability Days is an annual event that provides DOD medical developers with an opportunity to highlight programs and products to stakeholders from across the Department of Defense, Congress and industry.
