The Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works, Michael L. Connor, signs an $20 million agreement with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey May 29 as the first step in a project to deepen New York and New Jersey Harbor and further economic growth in the region. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is partnering with the Port Authority to improve the safety and efficiency of the port and surrounding navigation channels.
